shocks from 4cyl work for V6?

hey you guys just as the title says! a friend of mine is selling his HP gas shocks from his 4cyl and i was wondering if they would work on my v6 coupe?? thatnks in advance you guys....

No, there is about 200bs difference and the V6 will ride too low
