So I have 2 choices, is this a good deal?
So my local audio shop is an authorized dealer of viper and clifford alarms.
He offered me the Viper 5901 LC3 or the Clifford 50.7x alarm.
He will be including a free back up battery and extra siren, hood pin.
Either package for $300 out the door w/o installation as I will be doing it myself.
Is this a good deal? what other materials will I need. Thank You

That is a good deal, considering when released they retailed for about double that from authorized dealers. Assuming you still get a warranty, as you mentioned it's an authorized dealer, I would go for this. Ones on eBay are 250 currently but have no warranty or guarantees, so the local audio shop is definitely the best route.
Yeah its only a good deal if they BACK YOU UP if there is a problem.
As an AUTHORIZED DIRECTED DEALER... here IS the skinny:
If they(you local authorized dealer) do not install it....you have ZERO warranty on the product.
Good luck

not a good deal. get an alarm thats worth the few hundred dollars. autopage is the way to go. pioneers in security systems and prove it with all of the warranties and new systems they offer
What the hell is your deal? Are you getting paid by autopage to freakin post all this ****? Or do you work for them?

no i would just have people buy **** once and not regret it. i would rather some one get something worth their money, idk y anyone would want to encourage people to put something on their car that could jeopradize it
You are being ridiculous just because you don't take care of your viper remote. You said yourself it is old. And you're just pissed that they don't warranty the remote. Woo. I wouldn't warranty my remotes either because people drop them and break them all the time.
May be diff. in the states but up here you get at least 1 year manufacturers warranty if purchased at an authorized DEI dealer. 94
So i just bought a viper 5900 for about $185 w/ tax. it doesn't come with a back up battery or anything so i'm thinking of just selling it to someone I know who wants it. then just purchase these and he'll give me a back up battery, hood pins, and shock sensor for free at the price of 300 out the door.
