Rebuilt D16A6
zc camshaft
aem camgear
9.5 cr pistons
lightweight flywheel
i/h/e

I have been having some issues with this motor lately and I cant seem to figure it out. The car runs fine but will redline @ 4500-5000rpms. I changed the computer and it still does the same thing. Could it be cause of the zc camshaft??

are they wired up correctly? some have wired them up backwards, any codes? is the timing correct? did this occur recently? how are your plugs wires and dist?

 

I had this issue when I had my CRX. I did what you have done, and it ended it being my distributor believe it or not. It just happened from one day to the next. The guy that looked at it at the time replaced the igniter if i remember correctly. Hope this helps.

Replaced, dizzy, plugs, wires, ecu, and checked wiring..but all were used parts, ill try gettin a new dizzy see if that changes anything

 

and im gettin code 4, and occasionally code 1
