gsr head problem

Icon2 gsr head problem

wanted some help just recently dropped a gsr head into my civic with a b20 block 12.5:1 compression head has
skunk 2 pro 1 cams
skunk 2 pro cam gears
skunk 2 pro valves
skunk 2 pro retainers
skunk 2 pro springs
now my problem is when i start the the car the head is making a loud sound like a slapping sound also i notices the head get a lot hotter than befor but the car dosnt over heat would that just be because of the high compression??? the head was sitting fully assembled with out oil for bout 6 moths nothing was rusted every thing was new except the LMA's i used some from a b16 head i had laying around because i lost the ones for the gsr head. i did not put the head together a shop did it when i got it ported and polished. but i did adjust the valves Intake: 0.006
Exhaust: 0.007

the block has a stroker kit mfrom eagle 95mm and weisco pistons 84.5 mm with the pin moved up 3mm
