I used to have racing buckets in my R and I didnt like them. If you use sliders with them you can slide the seat forward but its still really hard to get in the back seat. I know the reclineable dont give as much support and are heavyier but i need them.
Guess I'm gonna be the first one to ask:
Do you have a cage in there?
If not yet, what are your plans?
Mine are for a full custom welded cage but, thats Not till the winter.
BTW as I'm sure you already know, you definately should Not run a race harness without a cage and especially on the street.
Neck injuries could be fatal.

PS nice seats, I am fond of the PRO2000:

The EVO fits nicely but, I like the added lumbar support of the PRO2000

Regarding the statement about the neck injuries and race harnesses. Can you expound upon that, I feel dumb for not understanding how a cage would make that safer.
If you are driving on the street or track and are strapped in tightly with a harness, and you don't have a cage AND you roll over and the roof collapses nicely, your neck will stay perpendicular to the seat regardless of if you are rightside up or upside down= neck injury.
Although a standard seatbelt firmly grasps you and holds you back during an accident or abrupt stops, it also slides away and gives a little or a lot of freedom of movement when it is not taut, so if you rolled the car your body would actually slide to the side in the car as the roof collapses, hopefully saving you from neck injury.
At leat you would have a better chance of Less injury without the harness as opposed to with the harness and No cage or Rollbar.
The missing part of the equation Is the Cage or Rollbar.

Well made point, I did not think about rolling over. My only concern with having a rollcage , actualy pertains to safety. I worry about hitting my head in the 8point i have in my Bronco, and leaning more towards the autopower 'rollbars' that mount behind the seat for the integra.
Would you mind giving some info on the rails/sliders? Thanks, Ryan
