Hey yall, so I was going through a junk yard the other day and happened upon a 99 coupe with power locks/windows/mirrors and was wondering if it would be a direct fit to my 97 cx hatch? I'd love to have all that on my car, but seeing as how the cx hatch comes with none of that, I was curious if the wiring harnesses to plug all that into would exist under the dash, or if I would need to rip out anything else besides the doors?

(also, I was told by the guy working the yard that the doors would fit -- is that true? if it's silver, would it be the same paint code as the silver in 97?)

YES YOU CAN. and yes same paint code but most likely the paint color would be abit off

 

The doors fit perfectly fine. However to add power windows/locks/mirrors the easy way use a floor harness and door harnesses from a '96 - '98 EX coupe. The '99 - '00 stuff doesn't plug in.

 

great, so I'd want to pickup the doors, and then rip out the wiring in those doors and replace w/the wiring from a 96-98 door? (and get the floor harness as well)

 

will I need to get the fuse box / or anything else in order to hook everything up?
