Default 91 Dx help

Hey guys i have a 1991 civic DX hatch, trying to find a hookup for a snap-on scanner, i have a low idle problem and hte car only has 115,000km on it so i was trying to see if any codes popped up. so, i know the car is pre- OBDII so, where the connection for the scanner??

lol, there are no ports for a scanner. Scanners are only for odbII. You have to pull back the passenger carpet and look at the metal plate on the floor. There will be a hole in the middle of it, with the corresponding light flashes for the code you are throwing through it. You may have to jump the connector by the dizzy with a wire the get the code to flash. Then reference the code by the ECU Code list in the FAQ section of this forum.
