ITR tranny? nice, thats pretty much the only tranny i'd use on any hybrid, or any fwd honda for that matter

I paid about $1060 US for a 99 Tranny with about 20,000 Km on it. It is cheaper to buy the ITR tranny (new/used) in Canada

That is what I am trying to figure out. The shop that I bought it from just told me that it is a 99 with 20k on it. I don't know what the external difference is between the USDM and the JDM. How do you tell them apart from the markings?

Shouldn't it be CDN or JDM as there were no R's sold in the US in 1999?

correct, but CDM=USDM, the question (I think at least) is to whether the tranny is N/A (North American) or JDM...

I think that the dealer cost on a new one is about 1900 CAD..or about 2200 CAD full retail. That would be about $1400 US or so
