Car wont start
I have a 95 EG hatch with a D15B8 and when I turn my key to start nothing happens. Everything turns on but the car wont turn over. I must get under the hood and place a wire between the power cable and solenoid on the starter to get the car to crank over and start. This is a real pain to do every time I want to start my car so I waste gas and leave it running.
Any suggestions?

Check the clutch pedal interlock switch if you have a manual transmission:

Another possibility is that the ON(III) position of your ignition switch is bad.

Its not the starter because it stays running after I have "jumped" it.
I will look at the interlock switch tonight and I just hope that is the problem. Thanks
