Default Gsr ITR internals what ECU?

i got a 99 GSr motor with Itr valve train and a decked head. i was told .oo3(i think) GSr IM.block has itr rods and pistons 4-1 headers. no ac/ps. with about 30,000 miles after rebuild. idk if they used over size internals.

So my Question is will a P73 better for me then a P72?

Because of the ITR internals, you'd want to use the type r ecu. Ultimately, you'd want to get an obd1 gsr/type r ecu then chip it, and get it tuned.

I have a jdm gsr p72 ecu. It's perfect because it has the maps for the higher compression as the jdm gsr has. Mine is a 95 model too, so its already obdI. It's worth looking around for one.

Just look for an OBD1 P28 chipped to ITR specs or whatever specs you like. Phearable.net sells them set to your specs and motor setup.
