If it's only temp, then you shouldn't do it. It would just make your car ride horribly.

Don't do it. Save your money and this get the struts and springs for the back. Because heating them is not safe, and chopping them is not smart because cars that are lowered right there springs are stiffer. So if you cut them and you hit an bump it would REALLY f up your car.... Go here www.JHPusa.com

I got all the parts to lower my car form there and I spend 950.00.... What's not bad.

Well then just go ahead and do it then. The people above just warned you how unsafe cutting or heating a spring engineered to certain specifications is, but they can't keep you from making bad decisions. So, I say go for it.

Hey, ive got mine chopped and its not to bad, not proud of it, but like you im in skool and i hate riding in a skybox. the ride comfort hasnt changed much, i have them cut about 2". the only reason yours may differ is because yours has drop springs and swapped out shocks in the front, so the balance could feel funny and make the car handle horriblly. but in the end its at your own discresion, at the end of the day you have to live with it.

If your broke, why are you worrying about how your car looks to other people? wouldn't the time and effort put into cutting the springs (which is a horrible idea anyway) be better suited making sure it runs?

And if you're in school, GOTO ****ING ENGLISH CLASS!!!!!!

thinken = thinking
cus = BEcause
cuten = cutting
witch = which
getten = getting
moter = motor
maket = make it
somethen = something
lowern = lowering
dono = don't know
handaling = handling
srink = shrink

Here's a thought, just drop it and take out the springs all together, that way it sits real low. It'd ride just the same if you cut them. Oh yeah, the present tense of a verb ends in 'ing. And even when shortened up, still ends in 'in.

Look into a company called Progress. There is a local shop in my are that has them for about 150 for the full set. I like them because they are reasonably priced, offer a great drop, and most have progressive springrates, allowing for a ride that handles well but not harsh during every day driving.

There's a link, and with the whole spelling and grammer thing, people will be more willing to help you out if it's easier to understand you. It may seem like a little thing, but others take it pretty serious.
