I hate to say it, but it needs a LOT of body work before paint.

Ok well maybe I wasnt clear enough for you. When i stated that the engine was installed just a little over 12 hrs before the event. I assumed people would have understood that it ment, body work was half assed. As you can see by the Diamond Plate B Piller its not ment to look beautiful. It is ment to look like a abortion from hell. Their is under 600 dollars invested in this thing total. Including the Rear cantaleaver suspention set up.

None of us really have any experiance in body work. Plus the 4 of us that did most of the work were 25, 20, and two 18 year olds.

After the 08 season was over with we got back onto the body work. Mind you this is prof done by a buddy and his Dad who work at Burton's Collision Center. Car is shot in Primer while we wait for some booth time to open up.

Before the Roll

Right rolled

Prep for evercoat, and duraglass

Its a drift truck, Diamond Plate is bad *** abortion or metal. Plus it was cheap for us. A shop was giving us a deal because they were selling around 4 bucks a pound and we got it at cost. 23 cents a pound

This is probably a dumb question, but what's the main reason why people turn their 240s into trucks? Does it make the chassis stiffer?

Something to do. Truck started out as a car that was going to get scrapped. Had frame rot had been in a accident. Hatch was rusted quarters were rusted and floor pans were rusted through. So to save it and do something random we built a truck out of it. It dose increase the structural integerty but only the roll cauge and the cantalever bar actually stiffen the chassie. We stitched and seam welded the rest to get the added support we wanted out of it.

The bed bars are only good to increase the structuel integerty of the bed.
