car will not start under about 25 degrees?
I have a h22a in a 92 Civic SI. I've recently replaced the distributor, plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, injectors, ECT sensor, TPS. Tried also swapping ECU's - both P28. Fuel pump sounds to be priming fine, I've tried priming it a few times in a row before attempting a cold start.
Currently, my car is throwing a CEL code for the TPS but only since I replaced it, the non-starting was a prior issue. If the temperature outside is 30 degrees or higher, the car will start like nothing's wrong. At night where I live it's been getting down into the low teens and I get up at 5am for work, only to have my car not start. I can smell a lot of gas, it just cranks but will not turn over. It gives like a little sputter but then repeatedly cranks. When I checked the plugs, they were covered in gas, I've been through 3 new sets trying to solve this. Anyone know what could be wrong?
The CEL for the TPS blinks randomly while I'm driving when I do get it started. I've looked at it long enough to know it's completely random and not giving me any sort of code. Maybe a loose wire?
Also, when I do get it started, it has a bad miss sometimes. I think something's wrong with cylinder 1 because when I remove its spark plug, the engine doesn't act any different, removing any of the others of course bogs the engine. I've checked spark, fuel, and compression. Compression test in order of cylinder: 75-120-75-75 when the car was cold, and just tested cyl. 1 when it was hot and it came back 145. This could be a contributing issue to the non-starting.
The main problem is the starting, anyone know?

I was going to tell you to check the ignition switch until I read the cold compressions. Low compression seems to be your problem. Does compression increase with addition of oil into the cylinder? Try a leak down test next.
I recently had it dyno'd and it put out 200 whp/165 peak torque and ran VERY strong. Only when it's cold does it have the miss. If it were a compression problem, would it pull that hard when the engine's hot?
All I can say is that the compression in cylinders 1, 2, and 4 are low relative to that in cylinder 3, specifically when the engine is cold. I presume that contraction of valves, pistons, etc. in cold temperatures would explain this effect.
