Stockish B16a2 All motor Cam ??'s
Ok, I had posted in here before about switching manifolds but some stuff got switched around on me.
My setup consists of.
Stock B16a2 block and head,
Ebay header with 2.5" collector
2.5 Exhaust no cat, twin a la mugen style muffler,
ITR intake manifold,
AEM CAI
P06 converted for vtec running s100 (will be tuned after cam swap)
This car is my daily, I drive it everyday and plan on autox'ing it every weekend I can this summer. I was setup to buy some ITR cam's but the seller sold them to a buddy of his. I want midrange power, and I do not want to change the valve springs. What cams will meet these guidelines?
I have read that CTR, ITR, etc are a waste. That I should upgrade to something else, as these are not really an upgrade. Keep in mind that I would like to keep the stock rev limit/valve springs.
I was thinking about getting some UGR v1 cams with cam gears as I can get both for under $300 brand new. I read that UGR is now owned by Skunk2 and I cannot see them selling a bad product and have read quite a few good reviews.
Opinions and thoughts?

To be honest, any cams with a more agressive profile than that will "recommend" a valvespring upgrade. But with that aside for a stock B16a2 I would recommend some blox b's, hell maybe even some BC3+ (they are cheap on here so I had to say it). The Blox B's would be your best bet though. Note that when I say "recommend", that means you need to.

Damn, there is no way on this planet you would run blox b's on any honda OEM VT unless you want to have a catastrophic failure. Aftermarket VT is not "recommended" but mandatory. Blox b have ~12.5 mm of lift. Look for a thread by MOTU on b-series valve springs.
And no, lift and spring pressure are what mostly determine whether a spring is adequate for cam.
