Default No start after mpfi swap??

ok so my buddy did a mpfi swap on his car, and it didn't run cuz of some wiring gremlins. i fixed the gremlins on it, and now i'm trying to get the car running, but it guess i missed some. timing is good, gets fuel (just a header and down pipe so i can smell it when trying to start). set up is an 88 std hatch 4spd manual w a d15b1 w a b7 cam, z6 intake mani w obd0 injectors, obd0 ls throttle body, pm6 ecu, resistor box is installed, new plugs, tried two different dizzy's both have no spark. the first one i tried the coil was warm after trying to start it for a while. battery was relocated to trunk, the thermostat ground is hooked up, so is the valve cover ground... i'm going to try swapping the cap. gas is almost on the red so maybe i should ad some gas? idk it just cranks and cranks, doesn't even try to catch... kind of stumped here! lol only code it throws is a rapid 4 (this show's up after trying to start it a few times on both dizzy's) i physicaly looked at the wiring and re did it twice to make sure it was correct... spark plug wires are all in the correct order too... i'm stumped!!

please help, i want my car running!! driving a mini van sucks. lol

thanks to all that can help!

so i reset the ecu, no longer throwing the code 4 but is throwing a code 5 and 14. from searching it looks like code 5 is a mechanical problem w the map (vacuum leak i'm guessing? one of the vacuum bungs is just plugged off w tape. still smokes like a train. lol
