Default Carpet and Garnish

So i have a 94 civic coupe and the carpet connecting to the garnish on my door step thing have become separated and i cannot come up with a good way about fixing it........any suggestions.

i have tried the staple and double sided tape but that does not stay for long

some times you have to clean the parts really good! i know it works cause the same thing happened to me.. oh and make sure its "super duty" type they sell it at home depot.. or maybe some super adhesive spray too.. GL!!!

Use some contact cement and really "attach" the sill. I used some rivets to hold down the sill (since the clips were broken) along with contact cement for the carpet.

Then again, now I'm looking for a new carpet to install and will have to drill out the rivets and buy new sill plates...
