Default Hey everyone!

Hello everyone!

New to the boards here and have been searching around and already have found a wealth of knowledge!

I have been building tuning and racing domestics for a number of years and enjoy tinkering with things. As im sure most of you guys do!

I have a 00 Si so far pretty stock, only I/E and msd. Along with lowered and wheel and tired. The engine is a little tired and has been the daily driver for a couple of years now for the wife. It's time it had a little work done.

I just had a couple of questions (as im sure most do around here lol)

Im going to be installing another low millage B16 and I am wondering if the mods would work well in conjunction with what I am wanting to add later on.

Planning on CTR intake cam and type R Integra exhaust cam (as well as the correct valvetrain). along with skunk 2 intake manifold.

Shortly after installation I plan to install a greddy turbo kit and im wondering if these cams would work well with the greddy kit, Or would it be better to skip the cams and just run a stock engine. I am also wondering a couple of questions about the greddy kit.

I have been reading about this blue box....... Does the greddy kit for the 99-00 Si come with preprogrammed Emanage?
Also does this kit come with a better fuel pump?

I plan on adding the front mount with this kit as well for the extra reliability.

I am just looking for like 6-7 psi nothing crazy and want something very reliable since the wife drives this car daily. Just would like some extra zing to it.

I know there are better kits, more power to be had, and whatnot but I am not looking for a real wild combo just a clean daily driver.

Thanks for the great site! a great asset for information!

The Blue box that you might be refering to is the OLD piggyback that greddy supplied with their kits. Before the blue box was the black box, but that is going way back.

New greddy kits come with emanage...but as it looks like greddy discontinued the 99-00 Si kit, it MIGHT come with the blue box...check with the company you are buying it from first.

Greddy is a great kit for a simple lower power car. Sounds like a perfect match.

As for the cams, I would suggest checking out and searching the Forced Induction forum.

Welcome and good luck.

Hey thanks for the reply!

I am seeing that the kit was discontinued.... Does this mean that the older blue box would probably be what would come with this kit if a new but old stock turbo kit was found?

Thanks for the information!
