Sweet, I had thought about doing this to my Hatch. My buddy has an extra 4G63 just sitting in his garage.

Oh, grow up and get over yourself.

I got some amusement out of it.

thanks targa

it is expected to get some negative criticism. I know most honda lovers hate the idea but think about it 210 stock hp 214 trq....with a simple boost controller it has so much potential. Car ran its quickest 12.8 years ago with no mods. I am starting to put a light build on her and get her going again. I have a couple issues im working out right now should have her back on the track soon. will keep you updated

a talon engine should stay in a talon. they are sick when fully built but like i said should remain in a talon.

sure thumbs up for being original and all but yet again its not my taste. sorry if i came out actin harshly

no prob man i totally understand. We all have our own opinions, but I wouldnt change anything about my opinion on swapping a mitsu motor in a HONDA. I love it easy to work on, reliable, decent gas mileage, pretty quick for a streetcar, I guess im just done with honda motors and there tedious little problems..

they're actually pretty reliable if you take care of them.. thats why you find honda engines still running strong with a ****-ton of miles on them. i have 3 friends that various model year talons, and they've had nothing but trouble with them. and even if i had tedious problems to deal with, i think that would be better then the larger ones you now have..

that aside, looks like you did a pretty clean swap. nicely done on the one of a kind engine mounts, and looks like it must of been real fun doing all that wire splicing at the ecu, heh. next you should drop a 4b11t in there

I had a 1995 TSi AWD Talon. The car sucked to work on and was unreliable as are most DSM's but was a blast when everything was right.

He had reliable in that sentence.lol. I had two friends with a talon and the other had eclipse. both went threw two tranny's. always having problems with them. then they sold them and bought Honda's and never looked back.

Perhaps DOHC ZC's should stay in JDM Si's?
