Default noob A/C ?

Is it true that taking out your AC will reduce a decent amount of weight or is it just b/c some people dont wanna take the time to put it in after a swap??? if not then why do alot of these cars not have no AC??

it reduces weight, the compressor is pretty heavy, i mean its not like OMG heavy but its heavy i guess... and some people swap out their single cam and put in a dual cam so you need different parts for the ac so some people just do without it

it will not in any way.... it does take a ton of power away from the car when you use it.

i had to take it out, to make way for turbo at one point, but was to lazy to put it back.

just my 2 sense.
