What AC items to Remove with idea of reinstalling
What items of the AC system should be removed that would allow the greatest weight reduction.? I do NOT want to strip it all out and I also would like to re-install the AC at some point and want an easy re-install later on. I was thinking the heaviest items would be the compressor, AC lines to the compressor and the condenser, although not that heavy. Car will be an autocross car that I'd like to save some weight on the nose. I also expect a weight savings from installing an after market header and a Hawker battery.
Any ideas from those that have done so or have weighted their AC items appriciated.. Oh, car is a 1993 Civic DX coupe

Re: What AC items to Remove with idea of reinstalling (DerangedEG)
the condenser, and compressor are the heaviest things. It probably wouldnt be worth the 2 or 3lbs to take the lines out from the evap.
