5zigen ZR+ question
is anyone using these wheels, i plan on purchasing them soon have some questions to clear up, what offsets are you using, ive been researching offsets but i wanna be safe for asking the question myself, i plan on going with 17x7(front) 17x8(rear) they offer +37, +42 +47 for the fronts and +42, +47 for the rears, my question is what would work without having rubbing issues with an 1"drop. also would i have to use an 40 or 45 series tire, i plan on using 205 for the front and 235 or 245 in the back, give me your guy's options!!
These are minimum recommended offsets. You can use a higher offset if you want, and you will get additional fender clearance.
For the front:
205 tires: +43 offset minimum (6.5” to 7.5” wide wheel)
215 tires: +48 offset minimum (7.0” to 8.0” wide wheel)
225 tires: +53 offset minimum (7.0” to 8.0” wide wheel)
235 tires: +58 offset minimum (7.5” to 8.5” wide wheel)
245 tires: +63 offset minimum (7.5” to 8.5” wide wheel)
For the rear:
235 tires: +40 offset minimum (7.5” to 8.5” wide wheel)
245 tires: +45 offset minimum (7.5” to 9.0” wide wheel)
255 tires: +50 offset minimum (8.0” to 9.5” wide wheel)
265 tires: +55 offset minimum (8.5” to 9.5” wide wheel)
275 tires: +60 offset minimum (9.0” to 10.0” wide wheel)
285 tires: +65 offset minimum (9.0” to 10.0” wide wheel)
For the front:
205 tires: +43 offset minimum (6.5” to 7.5” wide wheel)
215 tires: +48 offset minimum (7.0” to 8.0” wide wheel)
225 tires: +53 offset minimum (7.0” to 8.0” wide wheel)
235 tires: +58 offset minimum (7.5” to 8.5” wide wheel)
245 tires: +63 offset minimum (7.5” to 8.5” wide wheel)
For the rear:
235 tires: +40 offset minimum (7.5” to 8.5” wide wheel)
245 tires: +45 offset minimum (7.5” to 9.0” wide wheel)
255 tires: +50 offset minimum (8.0” to 9.5” wide wheel)
265 tires: +55 offset minimum (8.5” to 9.5” wide wheel)
275 tires: +60 offset minimum (9.0” to 10.0” wide wheel)
285 tires: +65 offset minimum (9.0” to 10.0” wide wheel)
^ I would love to see that no one runs anything wider than a 255 because of how low they are and the offsets of the wheel a 275 read would look awesome not to mention mad grip in turns
