I have a cd player i want to use but since its from a newer honda it uses a different plug in the back, my question is how do i intergrate this cd player without cutting my original eg harness? sorry im new to the eg scene

 

does your car have like a main harness that stays in the car? and then you plug one into that, then into your deck?

what you most likely going to have to do is get the harness for the radio your going to use, cut the eg plug off and crimp the wires to the proper wire for new radio.

 

go to a stereo shop and see what they have yo may need to buy two different plugs and have at it. one for your car and one for a 96 00. you will also need the code from the owner of the car or a dealer, otherwise the radio will not turn on.

 

you are going to have to cut the eg harness and install a radio harness from a 99 and up honda.
