Icon2 Torque specs for '03 Odyssey

I need to change the front break's on my 2003 Odyssey and need some torque specs. I need the torque specs for the 2 bolts that hold the caliper on and the specs for the harness that the caliper is attached to, because I am also changing the rotors.

Question: On my German cars, the policy is to always replace rotors with pads, the Odyssey only as about 60K on it, it is a wise thing to follow the more causes German policy or is a waste of money to replay the rotors when they don't need to be replaced.

Just make sure theyre tight. A torque wrench seems unnecessary for those two bolts.
Changing pads when you change rotors can be a good idea. If your rotors have grooves in them, you probably should go ahead and replace the pads too. If the rotors are just getting thin, but are nice and smooth you dont need to replace the pads.

The rotors have plenty of thickness I'm sure. You can just replace the brake pads and have the rotors machined. It's a waste of money to replace them early.

My problem is that I am a big guy, my version of tight can be TOO tight. I actually put some lug nuts on too tight and the wheel came flying off while the car was going down the road. Considering the Odyssey is what my wife drives, I don't want things too tight. Thus I like having the torque specs

lol
I always use a torque wrench for lug nuts. Exactly 80ft-lbs on every nut. That way theyre not so hard to back off again.
But for torque specs on the caliper mouning braket bolts I can only tell you that for honda cars the specs range from 17 to 80 ft-lbs. The best thing you could do is get a haynes manual for the vehicle.

DO NOT BUY CHILTONS
