I dont think the girdle is necessary in most cases. You will end up spending quite a bit of money on machine work to use it.

1. GSR MOROSO OIL PAN - OK
2. AEM TRUETIME CAM GEARS OR SKUNK - OK
3. SKUNK 2 INTAKE MANIFOLD - Get the Edelbrock Victor X
4. SKUNK 2 68MM THROTTLE BODY. - OK but you could go bigger
5. SKUNK 2 STAGE 2 CAMS - I have had the best luck with BC5
6. GREDDY RACING TIMING BELT - OK
7. GOLDEN EAGLE BLOCK GUARD - OK
8. RACE HEADER, NOT SURE WHICH ONE YET. - At least the knock-off Hytech, but preferably a custom header built for your setup.
9. 3 ANGLE VALVE JOB. - Have the head done by a reputible "Honda" head porter, ask them to flow it for you so you can see how it flows at certain lift levels. That will help also with the cam selection.

Just my opinion of course but we have done these builds many times before. Here is a graph of the last one we did. http://www.speedfactoryracing.net/graphs.php Hope that helps.

I have all the parts for the gsr girdle. Should I just use it or sell it? If I sell it could I just use the gsr Windage pickup and oil pan without the girdle? Or use the b20 windage, pickup.

What alot of people dont realise is that when you install a girdle you need to line hone the block and that is not cheap.

I think that setup would love some Pro2s.

VTECKidd's setup did well on the RMF Narrow header, and was fairly similar to this. Might want to look into his RMF Narrow Copy as your header.

Wouldn't you guys think this would do well with the PerformerX?

Save your money and dont do the girdle. Use the B20 windage tray and pickup, buy some BC5 cams. I have used the Pro2's and the BC5 on the same engine and the BC5 made more power.

bc5's are too big for his setup. his cr is only at 11:5. bc5 needs at least 12:5. bc4 or pro 1's should be good.
