H2 Honda Challenge Camber and Wheel ???
I acquired a 1994 Accord Wagon for my first race car. I loved how different it was and the history behind it. I am still researching to find out more.
At this time I am trying to set up the car for more camber. The adjustable stuff that was on the car is gone. Right now it is not enough to keep the tires wearing correctly during a race. I need to find out what is the best way to get back in the neighborhood of -4 front and -3 rear that will hold up to the abuse of road racing like in the pic.
So far I like the Taspro arms for the front and SPC arms for the rear. I can't tell if the Taspro arms are just stock arms with their adj. ball joint and pivot bushings. I already have a good arms and bushings, so I might go with just the ball joint. I’m still trying to find out if it's any good. I have read bad things from the racing community about the Ingalls joint.
The other thing I'm trying to find out is how wide of a tire people are running and the best offset to clear them. I would like to go from 225-255. As of right now, I'm going to be running 225/45/17 on a billet 17x7 ET42, and toying with running a 245/45/16 or 245/45/16 front with 225/45/17 rear staggered setup.
Any Assistance would be great.
First race for me is going to be end of this month at Cal Speedway.
Help me make this thing to stick on the High-banks!!!!
