HT i need some help with my 96 coupe ex. When I bought the car 8months ago or 9 i noticed the shaking when braking from any point above 45mph. it didnt really bother me and ive been broke paying for school and starting my only little business plan. anyways its really starting to get to me and ive been wanting to do minor comfort upgrades for a better drive. This is my #1 on my list. the thing is i dont know if its my alignment or my brakes disk being uneven or something. my tires have about 20k on them and the wear is perfectly even and the life is still outstanding which makes me believe it might not be an alignment problem.on my ef i had a similar problem but only from 25 to about 50mph when accelerating and it was my disks up front being a bit warped. whats ur opinion. Id like to solve the main problem first both will be getting done soon just would like to hear all of your opinions on which it most likely is
thats your rotors just do a full brake job on the car and you should be just fine thats just because when the rtors get too hot they start to bucle and bend so just replace them............gl

i did plan on doing a full brake tune up if it was the rotors which I really suspected it would be. I just wanted to get this problem fixed before I slap on my new wheels and rubbers. I love driving a smooth nice braking car. i hate wheels shake like a madman. thanks
SIRb16a is right.
A quick note to the OP. A bad alignment will not cause vibration. Vibration is usually caused by faulty brakes, bushings, or other suspension components.
