I am seriously considering buying this hatch. Does anyone out there know if the ls/vtec set-up was done correctly? It sounds good, but some reassurance would be great anyway, here it is...

Yeah it depends on the builder of the LS/VTEC and if he used the right parts. I would e mail them with more questions if you are seriously interested.

 

I dont think there are enough pics to justify 9000 dollars.And the ones that are there are unclear and dark.

True. The only reason I would pay more and justify doing it is that it may save you labor cost and time. If you don't plan on getting your hands dirty too.

Even if you do it yourself like me, there is that frustration of missing parts and waiting for parts and the stress....

But in the end you will be all ... hopefully

yeah I am gonna give a call and see what's up with the car. but if anyone knows of this shop (where the car was built) and can back up its credability that would be great thanks again...

 

In the Ad he says you "CAN EAT OFF THE ENGINE" because its so clean.

Tell him you want to come over and see him do it, then you will pay him what its worth !!

Hey thats Donny's hatch. That hatch is prbably the sweetest hatch i have seen. Tim and donny do a lot of LS/vtec's so they know what they are doin and I will assure you that the correct parts have been used.

I was goin to actually buy this hatch and sell mine becasue this thing is just beutiful, in person especially the painted engine components.

They are selling the hatch already becasue they want to build i think a monster ef hatch, or somthing they basically want another (new) project.

i dont get some people that they want to buy FIXED up cars already???you know that **** is raced out..just buy a stock hatch and build it ur slef...

 

In the AD it says it has rust and needs paint. IMO it's not worth the asking price but then again I haven't seen it in person.

 

personally i wouldnt buy another persons project, who knows if it was built right, or how hard he drove it, he could have just been beating on it because he knew he was going to sell it. But the main reason why i wouldnt buy someone elses project is that its more fun to build your own car, your own way.

well...not everyone has the time or money to build a car like that... I would much rather build my own and have it done my way, but at this point in my life that option is not feasible. anyway, seems like a nice car...thanks for the comments

 

clean hatch. but imo get your hands dirty and do it yourself it will make you love your car and its your not somebody elses car

 

Personally I wouldn't want to buy a car that is already fixed up, you dont kno what the owner did to the car, unless you kno the owner and he takes really good care of it.
