so i was running a b18b, then decided to change out for a b16.
now im having a couple issues i can't solve.

b18b was using a p75 obd1 ecu
now running p30 jdm ecu
si trans
rywire jumper harness.

first off he car runs great when cold, starts up fine.
car starts to warm up and then the problems.
cel for eld, so car goes to limp mode. no v-tec and such.
also speedometer drops to 0.
so I tried changing the alt/sp sensor fuse.
now running new speed sensor, and same issue.

also..when in wot going up hill on the highway in 5th (around 4000 rpm) car seems to shut off, but then kicks back on again after almost 10 seconds.... not sure what the problem is, I Have tried alot of different things to try and figure out what is going on here, but nothing seems to be working.

any help would be appreciated.

 

96-99 Civics have a common short circuit problem caused by rubbing of an engine wire harness on the intake manifold bracket. Reading this TSB may help solve the problem.
