15.9 seems horrible. How off were the times? It sounds as if they were off by a whole second. I've seen stock ITR's run somewhere in the vacinity of 14.5 to 15's.

Lowest I've seen a stock R do is 14.4

Most people hit between a 14.5-15 flat.

I did 14.1ET @99.5 Mph with a Euro Spec ITR with just an AEM CAI and no CAT.
Also ! I used stock tires RE010!! The 18deg timing also helps a lot i think.

14.03@99.35mph with AEM CAI, not cat, and PS belt removed.

Have also hit a 14.3@96mph with exhuast hooked up and a 110lb passenger on a 75 degree night.

Well the intake was an AEM at one time. Then the Bypass valve broke and I put it back togther with hose clamps and wrapped it with some of that tin foil looking tape.

Oh and my first 14.0 run was with a bad distributor coil and throwing a random misfire code . (apparently not on that run though)

My friend hit a 13.9 with just weight reduction (excessively reduced, car weighing about 2300), ram air through his high beam. Stock header, ecu, intake(kind of), cams. He might have had a 5 zigen axle back and a test pipe at the time.

Best I've ever seen was Speedracer0067's car that ran 14.0 @ 98 w/ a modified stock airbox and APEXi N1 cat-back, I think he ran 14.4 completely bone stock.

Best I ran bone stock in my '00 was 14.6, I can now turn 14.3's relatively easily w/ CAI, test pipe, and 5 Zigen muff.

My '98 was a bit quicker than my '00, that car ran 14.1 @ 99 w/ a hollow cat, no a/c, and SRI. Now that car was a rocket! I miss that car!

well you have to realize i have very heavy rims, plus its time for a valve adjustment and timing chain on my car. POOP! lol. man alot of these times are great! you guys should come out to LACR and run, i bet no one would hit 14's in a close to stock ITR.
