Default Where to get and how does a line lock work?

I am curious if a line lock is what I think it is. I saw a quick thread on here with a picture but couldnt find it again due to search issue ( mostly me I am sure being new!)

Line lock activated by a switch so that you can hold a button and lock rear tires then release and continue to roll? So pretty much like the hand brake but being convienant button on Steering wheel I am assuming...

Lastly, if this is correct, who sells them at a reasonable price?

Thanks for the answers, and pictures help if you have them.

You can pm me your email address and I can forward you the info for the stop-roll kit I sell from moroso. It should clear up any questions you have with it.

...or launch for that matter but you have the right idea. depends if you want it on the front tires or the back tires and plumb it in accordingly inline w the brake lines. you can find them @ summit and jegs or you can email the dude who posted before me. they are relatively inexpensive. you can always wire it up along with a 2-step, trans brake, timers, etc...

Thanks guys! Thanks ComeOnKip the pdf explained it all. Now I just have to decide to I want it to help me stage or just burn out control. I suck at burnouts without the water box and I get nervous on the stage so I tend to get jittery and either bog or roll. Any suggestions on that?

Tried that, guess I just need more practice. I am thinking that if I keep my hands on the wheel and just release the button, that would be faster than going from the brake to the wheel and then back to the shifter. I could be wrong. I havent practiced this yet.

I will give a few things a try and see what flows the best and then work on my accuracy. Thanks again for the help.

Just keep one hand on the wheel and the other on the hand brake. I keep the button on the hand brake pressed in while I hold it up and I drop it to roll up. Lately I have just been burning out off my 2-step limiter for like 3 secs without using the hand brake.
