line locks
Forgive my limited knowledge....but this is what I heard from my Mustang/domestic friends.
We can do burnouts by simply pulling the ebrake and letting it rip. RWD's can't do that cuz that would lock the rear tires and nothing would spin.
A line lock, I was led to believe, is something that makes the ebrake lock the front tires instead. Basically it can lock any combination of wheels.
Am I right, guys?

no here i will explain...
A line lock works like this, there is a soleniod installed in the brake line that goes to the front brakes before it splits off to each front caliper, now when you are staging you will step on the brake (hold it) and then activate the soleniod that then traps the pressure going to the front brakes. You then relaese the pedal and there is no pressure gong to the back brakes , only the front holding the caliper closed, thats it!!!

Lots of fun to screw around with at redlights when theres a couple hotties on the corner next to you!
Your looking at major work on a Honda being that the proportioning valve works diagonaly not front to rear. You would have to do some major rerouting of the brake lines to get it to work and it would definantly effect everyday driving. Just use the E-brake

correct. also allows you to build boost on the line. great for launching. you will see this device on many drag cars in the near future. and probably on mine too.

aint that major, pretty easy actually, you just have two line locks for each line running to the rear brakes, definitly DOES NOT effect everyday driving at all
