Its the same for every motor so there will be tons of info if you google it. If you are using aftermarket pistons and rods with a floating pin you will be able to do everything yourself just be careful and patient.

Its a good idea to get a fresh hone.

don't forget to measure and gap the rings correctly for each cylinder. My pistons were press fit to the wristpin, so I just carried them down to the local machine shop, and they did it in 5 minutes for like $25.

most forged pistons come with wrist pics that have locking rings so there is no need to be pressed in. You need to make sure you have your rings in the proper sequence, spacing, and gap. Once everything is assembled, use a ring compressor and tape the rod cap off. then, put the rod in (slowly) the cylinder in the correct position and make sure you keep the ring compressor flush with the top of the cylinder or you will be frustrated(trust me I know), then just push/tap the piston down into the cylinder. Make sure you install the bearing on the rod and use assembly lube on it before you begin putting it into the cylinder though. Makes things much easier. the key is being careful not to scratch the cylinder walls, the bearings, or damage the rings or pistons. I ****ed up once and (because I was frustrated as hell) shattered a ring trying to tap the piston down. Had to buy a whole ring set just because of the one shattered ring.
