Can anyone recommend a shop that will pass my car? I took it to my local station and they failed me cause they were trying to generate revenue for their shop.

They failed me on a 4mm stone chip on the windshield that has already been repaired
and a couple broken headlight mounts.

He said the headlights could not be adjusted because of the broken mounts.
They can be adjusted with the "adjustment screws" and they are mounted solidly.

They said a tie-rod need to be changed. I have already changed that.

The manager told me that they could make the repairs the same day and have it passed by the next morning. He quoted me a crazy price for parts and labor.

Send me a PM if you can recommend a more forgiving Inspection station.

just go to any hole in the wall inspection station and tell them youll give them 200 to just write you an inspection without looking at the car.

 

man, thats kind of shady. but i guess whatever works, huh?
