Preffered Parts Providers?
I'm looking at buying a CTR or HFP rear spoiler (or look-alike) and was wondering who others had gone through for theirs, and what their experiences had been?
I already looked through the FAQs and have checked out passwordjdm.com, showstoppersusa.com, and a couple others... Show Stoppers seems sketch to me. They're super cheap and they only give you part of the reviews people write.
In general, which companies are the preferred providers? And any tips on getting a better deal out of them? (I already know that with the larger parts, if you have it shipped to a business, aka the dealership that I work at, you can often get better shipping prices) (Also, tell them that you work for a dealership, see if they give you a better price)

Well which do you want, OEM or aftermarket? For fitment reasons alone, I would go with the HFP spoiler. You'll end up paying about the same once you get your crappy fiberglass replica painted to match anyway.
I couldn't say enough good things about ShowStoppers, I know their website isn't the greatest but they always have smoking deals on ephatch.com and have excellenet customer service.
If you decide to buy OEM, you can shop on either handa.com or majestichonda.com

I didn't even know Honda had an E-store. That's great!
Handa.com is down for the moment.
There's a skills center in my area with an autobody program, and they do really good painting for a lot cheaper. And I'm good friends with one of the professors. Painting would not be hard to do for cheap.

So, I just need to suck it up and pay the $400-500 for the spoiler... The wifey isn't going to be happy.
Thanks for all the info though. Better to know now, than be pissed off later... Speaking of which. Just to make sure. Only the '04-'05 had the HFP option, so when I go to the dealer, I ask for those models, right? and they'll still fit my '03?

do the hfp for sure. showstoppers is good as is this place www.speedstar-racing.com but neither of them have the hfp. i'll buy from speed star any day.
are you sure its out of production? what happens if you get into an accident and the insurance needs to replace let say the front lip? I thought they had to keep on making them for at least 10 years after the last model has left the production...
