Default d15b7 for b16

92 civic 4 door d15b7 engine.i was thinking of swaping for a jdm b16 engine.is it worth it,its a 4door sedan,not a 2door coupe or hatchback

im getting the complete package engine and trans for about 1600 and 450 shipping from jdmcars.com.do i need something else like ecu, axal. i like to know is there more people do a b16 swap for there hatchback or 2door coupe than a 4 door sedan.

well if u get the "complete" swap you should get the motor,linkage,ecu, harness, axles, trans, and everything else for a "complete swap"....glad to see you edited your first post also and honestly most people dont know that a four door dx weighs less than a Si hatch...either way you will feel a difference in power...down the road you could peice together a nice turbo kit and get it professionally tuned and be running around 300whp on a stock b16
