95 Honda Civic CV Joints.
ok topic pretty much says it all.
the clicking is just getting on my nerves and im wanting to replace them.
were is the best place to get them cheapest but reliable.
and is there a D.I.Y cause shops that i have checked is charging 160$ for Left and Right side each plus a 85$ Labor Fee.
and when buying the CV joints will i need to by 2 different sets one for left and right? or can i by a set? or are they identical and can go on either side in that case i just get 2.

Is that $160 with or without core? If its the before core price then it sounds just about right, otherwise i'd say its high. You don't replace the joint per say but the entire axle. Right and left axles are different, order accordingly. Heres the D.I.Y ---> https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/faq-axle-replacement-tutorial-pics-382416/

its 160 per axel and 70$ per axel just to put it on my car. so around 520$ total for it all. which i think is rediculous.
you can buy both axles at a parts store with lifetime warranty for little over 100 buxs. if i were to have someone do work for me i always supply my own parts so i dont get ripped off. Ive seen what Midas charged my friend on parts i said wow you paid that much for that.
And i would go ahead and do both dont mess around and do one go ahead and change the other one becuase it will go eventually anyway alittle extra peice of mind and less down time later also id see about replaceing the axles seals while your there too they are also cheap

If you do enough searching and reading on this site you can figure out how to change the axle's yourself including the seals.
Just don't be in a big hurry and make sure you have the correct tools.
I am new to all this and i did the axles and seals in a couple of hours. Seals are a pain, but if you take your time you can do it.

Tools Needed. 32mm socket, LOOOOOOONG pipe, breaker bar, little muscle, pry bar, jack stands, jack.
Buy some regular d-series axles on here from someone close to you for like 50 bucks and do the job yourself for less then what you would pay for one axle.
