Default Accord Radio

Can someone tell me if the radio is connected to the main console is it is separate? I need this to know b/c i want to work on a custom radio console.

The radio and the climate control is all in one unit if that is what you were asking.

Unless you have the factory nav then they are separate units. It also depends on what year you have, Im not sure on the gen8's but good luck integrating one of those. I know Metra makes a kit for the gen7's that will relocate your climate controls and give you a single DIN for an aftermarket stereo.
