How to clean Headers of a B'' series Motor

wanted to know if anyone knows how to clean headers that have been exposed to heat temperatures from the engine bay.
they are not rusty or dirty, they are simply dull looking. When I bought them they were a brown color and look nice. NOw they look Uggly...

I've used the above method on my "JDM" DC 4-1 header with great results. If you're flanges aren't stainless, they'll still look a little dirty/rusty when you're finished. Good luck.
