I have an eh3 that doesn't have an airbag anymore. My question is can I remove the srs box along with all the wiring without throwing any codes from my ecu? I already have a jdm cluster so the srs light doesn't come on. TIA

I'd say yes, but you could try just unplugging the SRS ECU before tearing everything out.

When the SRS ECU failed on my Si, it threw only an SRS code, no CEL.

 

Thats what I wanted to hear. I would not be able to check if it would throw codes because my car is torn almost completely apart. I can deal with the srs light though. Thanks.
