H22 Accord owners!! quick question.
To all H22 powered Accord owners... okay edit!
Since some people think this was a "dumb question" I'll rephrase it.
If you had the chance would you rather have turboed the stock Accord motor? I guess the car gets around quick with the H22 but, does it compare to a turboed Accord motor?

Well.....
Lets just say it does not feel like an Accord any more
More like a lighter and faster 4th gen Prelude VTEC

I think it definitely feels like it has some kick to it (when my car did run) when I had a turbo on it, and it spooled up just a little - it was amazing

come on, this really didnt need to be asked, did it? lets see. . . going from 109 hp to 180.
do you think you're not going to notice a 70 hp increase?

f22a1, 92 lx accord made 109 hp on the dyno the day before we yanked it out.
h22a, in the 92 accord, made 180 hp and 150 lb/ft with a p72 ecu, and later made the same numbers with a p28 ecu and hondata.

of course the h22 is going to be better than having a turbo f22. my h22 is not stock so i cant tell u how it would pull in stock trim. but with my engine i can run a lot of people. and i mean lots of people. ITRs are my bitches. ludes, SIs, and GSRs are all a joke unless the have some major work done.
and llets say i wanted to turbo my car, i would dyno close to 240 to the wheels at only 6-7lb of boost. a turbo f22 at 6-7lb of boost isnt even close to laying down dyno numbers close to me and im all motor
.
so in the end the h22 is superior to the f22 in every way, im not saying the h22 is the almighty honda motor but its is deff. one of the best.
this post is funny as hell. f22 guys are putting turbos on their motors so they can be just as fast as a h22 guy with only a i/e. Bwahahahahahahahahahah.
