Default staggered tires, sway bars or NO sways

i'm running a higher-HP setup, in a 2200 lbs EF hatch.. it'll be tracked a few days a year, has enough brakes, etc. 300 whp on track, roughly.

the last several years, its been 200-250 whp, different suspension, and i liked it. i had cheapie falkens, konis, and H+R race springs. simple, worked, no sway bars, and it was fun, balanced-feeling, and quick.

now its got Konis, ground controls 450's front, and 12k hypercoils rear.

the tires are staggered on track -255 front, 205 rear, R compounds.

think i'll need sway bars? i've seen few/none cars similar to this.... i'm thinking stocker bars front/ back...., just some simple stuff to keep the car flatter, etc.

the car is more-street car than anything, and a bit more drag car than HPDE car.

Sway bars add some simple adjustability trackside. You use them to balance the car to the track conditions. I would get a rear bar and use stock front bar.

Your rates aren't high enough IMO to justify no sways. I'd give some stockish ones a shot. What's available to work on an EF? Something like an ITR bar? And how did you cram a 255 front tire on that thing?

his rates are good for an ef. i thik the staggered set up might be ok, might be too loose. i run 500/700 with a front bar and no rear bar and its just about right on 225 r-comps all the way around.

I thought you had an ASR rear bar? Are all the other EF guys running no bars?

<--- Surprised...

i didnt run any bars, mainly , because it didnt come with any, and when i started tracking , about 5 years ago, i didnt know anything about it. just had the simple H&R setup/konis, and loved it. car rotated fine, was predictable, etc.

looking to keep it flatter though. the 255s are under "hidden" flared-out fenders. they look stock, but the are actually a large-hole, pulled out some. my body guy modified them for CHEAP a couple years ago.

i'm trying to improve the cars' driveability, and hoping to not have to think about it as much as i did last year.

nah, the asr doesn't clear an exhaust so i never got it. most ef guys are running hf front/st rear or asr rear. i have too much rear spring so i unhooked my rear bar. im ognna drop the rear rates down when i take the shocks back out and try that with the bar hooked up.
