Default Crank offset grind price

Just got the response from the shop. How does the price sound to you guys.

Hi,
The offset/grind labor is $150.00. May have to go to .25 under to get full 98mm stroke; depends on how good the original crank is. The balance labor is $125.00.
Ion nitride labor $150.00 + freight. (I do not do this in house; must ship to California to get it done.) Index grind & improved radius's on journals are all part of the deal.
Thanks, Mike

> I was wondering if i could get a price on a crankshaft offset grind. The crank is 4 cylinder honda crankshaft. Right now the crank has a 1.888 journal diameter and a 95mm stroke. I would like to go to a 1.771 journal diameter to up the stroke to a 98mm. Also I need to journals to be heatreated, micropolished, and balanced. Thank you for your time, Tyler

I know Castillos is higher than that. But that is the only place I would send my cranks to.. He has been doing cranks for years.

Doesn't seem to include price for heattreatment.

Around the USA, I have seen pricing from $500 to $1500 for offset grinding..

It depends who is doing it and it helps if they have experience with honda cranks.

i have a complete setup for sale. Stroker 99mm crank, custom Arias 16.5:1 pistons, Custom aluminum rods, RS sleeved block 90mm bore. with brand new bearings. all brand new custom parts never used.. This block is unassembled with brand new parts.

i'll sell it for $2500 plus shipping.... it will cost you less to buy this setup than get a offset grinded crank... plus this is a complete custom setup. the pistons are coated and have lightweight buttons.. sick setup. just going with a different setup now so this is for sale..

Lmk if you are interested! PM me...
