My First Build - B18C
This is my first build so tell me what you think and if I should change anything or consider items. The engine is a JDM B18C I bought from HMotorsOnline.com and I am rather please with how clean the motor was when I tore the motor down. I have decided to keep the stock sleeves in the block for now but with future plans of building a complete new bottom end using a Dart block. As for now, this is what I have done:

JG Pro Series Cylinder Head Package - What sort of flow is he promising, If you need head work check out CC
Crower Stage 3 Cams - not a huge fan maybe sks2
Crower Dual Valve Springs - not a huge fan maybe supertech
Crower Titanium Retainers - if this a street car then maybe you want CrMoV (steel)

Skunk2 Cam Seal - OEM
MSD Distributor - save your money stock ignition is fine
MSD Blaster2 Coil - save your money stock ignition is fine
MSD Ign. Cont. Module - save your money stock ignition is fine

Hytech Replica Header 4-2-1 - not a fan of the replica, there are better options. With the money saved from not buying a bunch of non-power producing items, you should be able to buy a good header.
Thermal R&D 3" Catback - 3" Kteller and a Magnflow muffler

He's got it all covered.
With all the money your going to spend get a real Hytech or SMSP header. Why cheap out here.
What are you going to tune this with, Hondata S300?
You may need bigger injectors.

are you kidding me, how in the hell they give you 3 bhp, from what i know all they stop is oil from pooping out from that hole but do correct me if i am wrong, but i definately know they don't give you bhp,
btw back to the topic, i am building one as well and it is my first build, with the same compression but with sk2 pro2 cams, sk2 high comp valves, pro valve springs and sk2 titanium retainers, b18c with darton sleeves ,85mm cp 12.5:1 pistons, eagle rods, eagle 89mm crank, these are few to name, anyway best of luck with the build, Amer

All in all this is a budget build, by no means do I have alot of money laying around at this time. All products I have listed have already been purchased and are all scattered around my garage cause I haven't had time to get the car together. I chose to run with JG because the local shops recommend them and they were the only ones I could actually come in contact with over the phone. I am always kind of leary on buying OEM parts...I dunno...I figured OEM parts give you OEM quality and thats only good enough for OEM performance. Beats me... The car is going to be mainly a track car, I have an EK for a daily.
The injectors I have been worried about. I was thinking about buying a set of 370s but I wasn't sure. I will be running C12 in the car mainly cause I can get it on the cheap cheap and 93 octane is not availible where I live...damn Kansas. I only thought about upgrading the driveshafts cause the car is outfitted with slicks and traction bars. I'd hate to be S.O.L. at a event just cause my driveshafts broke during qualifying.

No numbers yet but I am really excited to see what actually turns out.
My goal for the car is to run somewhere around mid 12's. Thats my goal. I have the car run a 14.2 with a B16 SiR-II, non-lsd, little bolt ons, roasting the tires to the 60 ft. mark. So hopefully this time around will be more favorable.

Why would you pay the big bucks for a good B18C and then replace everything in it.
Seems like it would have been way cheaper to start out with a bare block or cheap damaged engine.

I bought the motor because I wanted a nice clean platform to start with. And thats exactly what I got. Plus, in my area, buying a motor from someone around here is asking the for trouble...
