Default Brake piston adjusting

I need to move my right front brake piston in about 1.2mm to clear enough room for my new brake pads. Whats the quickest way to do this?

you mean compress it?? I usually use a huge c-clamp, but I have seen it down with channel locks (I just don't like how it mares up the piston surface.)

Get a "brake piston clamp" from Sears. They're only about $5, and blow c-clamps out of the water

usually people have clamps around, so since they already have it, why waste another 5 bucks. dont forget to do it slowly

Well when you change brake pads after every couple of times you take it on the track, you might as well get the right tools for the job.

But you're correct, most ITR owners never see track time, so why bother getting the right tool for the job.
