Default 2001-2005 Civics...are there any truly nice examples out there?

I just picked up a 2001 EX on a flip deal. I've known of a few K20 swapped examples, but has anyone actually made one of these cars look exceptional? Is there a H-T's best 2001-2005 thread?

This new search sucks...I freakin hate it.

^^^is it cause em2s arent jdm, thats why there not exceptional on everyones terms on ht, sure theres amazing examples of both the em2 and es1 but there all over looked in what seems to be stupidity lmfao.....theres a 01-05 civic thread, and the mod is tight on comments, so theres all pictures in there, and also "show me the best em2" thread in the appereance forums.....which also has exceptional hondas in my opinion lmfao..........

Sorry our cars aren't trendy enough for your liking... not that anyone that enjoys their EM2 cares what you think.

Japan never offered a coupe version for the 7th generation Civic, so therefore it's not "JDM".

i love matt's coupe..

i'd look into buying one but there actually never for sale really around here..people love those cars for DD's...i'll be honest...i don't really care for the suspension set-up compared to earlier gen civics but i could overlook that real easily for a rust free clean newer civic.....maybe one day..

my GF has an ES1 and its been a great car...hasn't skipped a beat....

FVentura has the best "aesthetic" example of an EM2 IMO.

The problem with these cars is that there aren't many tuners that make parts for these cars. And the body size is reallly weird compared to the wheel well size. So much so, that 17s just look too big on the car. Frankly, I have yet to see an EM2 on 17s(or bigger) that I actually like.

And... for some reason... I really don't know why... but this chassis has very few diehard followers that are willing to put in the time and effort to do an impressive build. And on the flip side of that, it has tons of followers that build shitty examples which turn off the Honda populat, as a whole, from the chassis.

The stock engine is so goddamn anemic that the car feels slower than any other Honda Ive ever driven. A K20 swap is pretty much mandatory if you want a "fast" EM2.

That all being said, I love my EM2. I happen to think it looks quite good as well. It is somewhat quick, as quick as a K20 will make it... and it handles well. Personally, I couldn't ask for more

^^^agreed.... freddys car is amazing, matts car is amazing, matts car is also an el now lmfao jkjk, most of the community of 7thgens on HT are nice, no rice, cause we'll bash ya... and i hate that rice-kits ruined the honda sceen, could even ruin the 7th gen population, but its the owners car......lmfao....im workin on 17in bbs rx's......hopefully they'll look good imma get them powdercoated a flat black, off greyish color......as far as handling i wish the 7th wasnt so tight in the rear...ive never spun out this much in other vehicles.....

you are ignorant. sorry our cars werent made in jdm land for your liking. IMO the 7thgencivic is by far the best looking civic out of all of them. look at this thread and i can count at least 20 em2/es1 that are badass and can give any other 5th/6th/8thgen a run for their money.
