Default Oil on spark plugs!! And other ??s

Well, just wondering what could cause it? Asked around and someone said the gaskets are probably shot. Okay....what gaskets? Head gaskets?! Trying to pep up the old engine in my civic, for a while. Also if I do change it, how hard is it? I bought a haynes manual, it sucks in my opinion, it keeps showing pics of the older carburated engines...not the engine in my car.
Ok, I plan on swapping engines later on, but the different engines are keeping me in check. JDM...USDM...any real differences? B18* compared to B18* ala the B16s ( * meaning c or a or b whatever ) one is rated higher than the other. Whats the difference in them?
Ok last ?. I'm looking for a good complete suspension system kit. Anybody have any recommendations?
Thanks guys!!

Spark plug boot seals. (4 round rubber seals) Just open up the valve cover and replace them.
