My last eg si and my current eg si dont have the cruise control word lit up. I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THAT THEY LIT UP!!!!!! hahahhahaha. anyways, now that i know they light up, i wanted to know if anyone knows or has a write up on how to change or where to buy the bulb for the switch???? thanks guys
Have you popped out the switch and taken the front cover (the part with cruise control on it) off? You might not even be able to replace the bulb. Take it apart and find out..
yeah it's not really a bulb you will have to do some soldering to change that, but it isn't as hard as i may look to open that up just take your time
$40 is a bit steep - those bulbs are 'pocket parts' at the junkyard, or max a couple bucks. The bulbs are ~3.50 from Majestic. There is also a DIY on this site for how to replace the bulbs with ones from Radio Shack.
I agree that replacing the bulb would be a much more inexpensive option. Do you have the link to the DIY? I just wanted to point out an alternative.
