Anytime I jump on the freeway with my DC2, my steering feels really loose after 60ish mph. Like I'll enter a turn and there's about maybe a half an inch of travel on my steering wheel before the car starts turning.

Is this normal?

 

you check your belts? fluids?

 

check the tie rods

 

i got taht same **** going on bro. got new tie rods inner outer, new axles and all that ****. thought it was just me too

 

Was it the tie rods? Replace em or are they just loose?

 

I would look at the power steering system.

 

i had bad tie rods and then some how my steering rack kept skipping so had to replace the whole thing..started noticing on the freeway aswell

 

Did you mean you replaced the steering rack and tie rods, or did you also replace the steering column? This happened to me as well and I believe the steering rack was replaced. Looks like it is happening on my new integra as well...
