Hey all.. I have an EK Civic HB.


Ever since it was broken into, the lights for the cluster and climate control dont work anymore. The cluster and AC work fine, just no lights!

I checked the fuse in the fusebox and it was fine, I checked the fuse under the passenger side of the hood and it was fine.
Is there any other fuses that you guys recommend I check out? or check anything else?

Check the dash lights brightness controller and its wires.

 

Use a meter to check them?

 

Yeah, you'll need a basic digital multimeter ($15-$20).

 

I spliced the red wire and connected it to ground and nothing happened. So I guess I got a cut in one of the wires? Do you know where they go to so I can check the wire?

 

Red wire gets power through the gauge assembly via the Red/Blk wire from fuse 30 under the dash.

 

Do you happen to have the under dash fuse box diagram??



Wow, you are sooo much help its not even funny.

 

Now its starting to blow the instrument light fuse, and when I arm the alarm, it blows the fuse that makes the running lights blink near the alarm block. But my aux. lights turn on just fine.


Ugghh.. Imma check the wiring and see whatsup.

 

Could something be wrong with my alarm?
