relocate cruise control box

Default relocate cruise control box

is this possible, I am ditching all my pw str and converting to a manual rack, and would like to keep the cruise control, maybe just hide it somewhere.. anyone ever done this or have any ideas...?

Is it the vacuum assist cable cruise? I'm sure you could move that somewhere as long at you got vacuum to it and didn't crimp the cable too badly... though there's not a whole lot of play in that cable.

You could probably move it into the fender... extending the vacuum and the wiring harness wouldn't be a problem, assuming you could get a longer cable for it, or make the stock one reach. You could possibly use a throttle cable from something, because I'm sure they're longer - I bet a civic throttle cable would work fine on the cruise.

But then, you may have a totally different cruise. I've heard they're different between the EG and the EJ, but I've never seen an EG one myself to verify.

i was thinking about that... finding another throttle from a car or somthing, but i need to find out if they are longer. i have no clue...

so i will post updates when i hear of some.

on another forum i have heard of people puttin themon there subframe...

but yet to see any links.
